I've had offers to play in cover bands doing the casino circuit thing but I just cringe at the thought. It's not that I mind playing covers from time to time but I have to do my own thing with the song even with covers. Most cover bands want you to stick to the script note for note but my fingers have a mind of their own and I can't seem to play any song the same way twice.

Stuff just kinda has a way of happening or not.

It's complicated to do the original band thing.
Even when the music is not.
