So true. So long as you stay the way you are. Change your life and follow Christ's teaching for a while and you'll see a changed in your friend the 'Horned One'. He'll never leave you alone, constantly trying to entice you to you're old ways again. He is quite content with where you are now, with your back turned from Christ.

Paul, Paul...my God already has me. And so does my Goddess. They have for years. The Horned One I speak of is not "Satan" (common misconception) in fact I don't even believe in Satan. He is the wild one of the forest, otherwise known as Herne or Cernunnos. He (Cernunnos) is a God of abundance, male power, earthly delights and fortune. Pretty good guy to have on your side, I think.

But like Guitaranatomy says, these discussions never ended up changing anyone's mind, so it's best not to pursue them. I'm happy that you are settled with your path, as I am mine.

While I agree these can be pretty heated topics. Nobody here seems to have their "panties in a wad". I knew from your posts and your age Irmunsil that I wouldn't be "converting" you. But since we all seem to feel free to share our beliefs I did too. The Christian today is far from mainstream. Much like the white male in this country is a Christian is now reviled. That's OK with me. I ride my motorcycle alone, I make most of my music on my own, and I am definitely on my own with the Ford Festiva.

I'm sorry but I can't be made to shed a tear for the travails of the white male when they still, in general, call all the shots.

I think this "hatred" is largely imagined - and maybe even fueled from some self loathing, or guilt.

"Kill Whitey", if memory serves, came from the Black Panthers - a group not only evaporated as a political force, but one of their main leaders now sells cook books.

"Down with man" pretty much refers to those who are in power, and became the clarion call of the underclasses. Not something I really have a problem with, actually. I love stickin it to "the man", myself.

Occasionally people dance with kind of bump and grind sexuality. Some of my vocals are a little raunchy I'll admit. I also play weddings occasionally, neighborhood parties, business parties. I respect somebody if they're Christian. I DO NOT want to be saved. I don't like to be told that I'm immoral and I'm going to Hell if I don't accept Jesus into my life. I also respect the billion or so Hindus and I respect the billion or so (peaceful) Muslims and the billion or so Buddhists. I even respect people who are into witchcraft and paganism and whatever. It doesn't matter what you believe AS LONG AS YOU LIVE A PEACEFUL LIFE AND LEAVE OTHER PEOPLE ALONE. Any affect you have on others should be by example, and not by force or threats of force or not making people feel guilty if they don't convert to your beliefs. I don't believe people who play blues or death metal or punk or whatever kind of "non-Christian" music are bad people. I happen to like the sound of the blues. I like the raw vocals, lowdown harmonica or saxophone, gritty guitar leads. Actually I'm a fairly upstanding individual. I don't smoke anything or drink. I'm happily married and faithful. I have a handicapped son who I diligently take care of. I run a small business and pay my taxes honestly. I happen to be a bluesman, play in bars sometimes, am non-Christian, etc. Doesn't make me an immoral person. Later...

I am in total agreeance to that statement as well. Just be a good person and do not impose your beliefs on others and I have no problem with you.
