Wow you guys are really nailing it today lol.. that's my favorite Genesis song!

I liked them a lot, although most people today just don't get it. Phil collins was once a really cool guy.. fame seemed to make him a douchebag at some point in the mid-80's

It was a memorable evening; I had Thanksgiving dinner at my girlfriend's house, where she renounced Catholicism and said she was now a Buddhist after dinner. The concert itself was mindblowing, with Peter Gabriel's multiple costume changes and props and effects. It was also my father's birthday but I don't recall even seeing him, I was such a self-absorbed prick back then. Sorry dad, and happy birthday wherever you are.

LOL, I also a few years back renounced catholicicism and embraced zen buddhism.. in a very serene and friendly manner too- but part of my family lost their minds, many don't speak to/with me anymore, and among them, I get constant barrages of emails stating that I'm going to hell, and bible quotes.

I've since decided that buddism wasn't right for me, and am kinda between religions.. haven't found one that fits my belief structure.. I'm too logical is the problem.

I do agree with and embrace a LOT from buddhism, I just fail to believe one of their core concepts- reincarnation.

Which is why I tend to refer to myself as agnostic, although it's not the most accurate description either, and usually wins me anger from all sides.

Yeah, I got birthday cards from my grandma saying I'm going to Hell.
Lovely.

Too funny. When my gf did it her grandma from Poland looked like she was going to faint.

I like a lot of Buddhism as well, we used to listen to a lot of Alan Watts on the radio late Saturday nights after ingesting psychedelics. But I'm an Agnostic, it's the only thing that makes sense.
