very true at least on the definition part,

so how did the complex of life form from a lesser complex of base elements?
in order for entropy to be absolute you show these materials in a more complex state previous to their state presently.

No, I was just eye-rolling that you drew creationism into this.
BTW, I'd rather just say "I don't know" about something I didn't understand than automatically give credit for anything to a mythical father-figure in the sky with magical powers.

With work (energy) complex states of matter can be created, however eventually everything wears out, ages and dies. Stars, galaxies and even the whole universe will die, given time. For anything to "live forever" you would need to constantly maintain the creation with new energy and matter.

that is the definition of a machine,
truly.
if you are calling life the output of the machine.
and entropy would surly apply to the final product.

that is as far as I'm going with this
what would be the point.

because I might be accused of introducing word like create and live into the argument.

but I might add that energy in not work it is potential for work
or the byproduct of work.

Ironically, that's cancer. Or gigantism. Etc.

As soon as you're born you're dying is not exactly true.
You have a general range of years as soon as you're born.
