Whatever.
It is apples and oranges, dude.
Yes, Mozart is great art.
But, he's not the be-all-end-all you'd like to believe.

Personally, I find this to be more emotionally moving anyway:

work is never apples and oranges
and that's 1/2 decent delta.
but you missed the point.

mainly because you forgot the question posed by the thread.

Why? Are You Getting Annoyed or Hostile Hearing Music You Do Not Understand?

How difficult a piece is to create is beside the point anyway.
There are thousands of guitarists who could play circles around most of the old blues players.
But, when those same "virtuosos" try playing the blues they often fall flat on their face.
They often have no soul. :P

it's possible, I suppose to offer most of the above posted music to an audience and some portion will derive pleasure from it.

but to come on a musicians forum with the the caveat, that this music done by people you or I never met, is superior and if I do not agree then I'm not "in the know"
is complete bullshit.
why don't you two get off your collective asses and create something that captures as closely as you are able to the feelings your having.
then I will listen.
besides that your just a load of arrogant posers, using someone eles's work to make your self feel important.

Yes. A music site should be about music. Not everyone will enjoy everything.
But, occasionally we turn each other on to some cool stuff we never heard before.

Are you feeling "left out" or something?
I don't know what your problem is.
I put up some music to try to find some like-minded folks who dig the same stuff as I do.
Or, at the very least, get some opinions on it from other people.

I dunno what you're getting so pissed about.
If you don't like it, don't listen.
Ignore it.

As for my own recordings, I'll share what I want when I want, when I'm good and ready.
I know it probably won't go over very well here.
Not a lot of folks here are into that sorta thing.
But, there are a few old samples on my page.
Nothing is stopping you from trying something.
That will have to suffice for now.

Yep real great stuff. Music Noveltie at best.

This is the kind of stuff that is really simple to understand. Some ECCENTRIC musician plays some ECCENTRIC music that always gets buried in the back ground in some boring PBS Documentary.

I think I will go out and record scraping a comb on different kinds of pavement. I will be a smash.

USING the GOURMET Metaphor

This survey queries taste in music from consumers' perspective. Heres the simplest way I know how to describe the universe in terms of musical art. The artist is responsible to lay the raw egg. That raw egg is complete unto itself and its essence cant be expounded on any further. However, the artist has the discretion to choose how the egg is presented after its creation. (Many slip-shods who call themselves artists, will try to pass presentation as essence. They try to sell you the candy -wrapper without the truffle).

Consumers can't wrap their heads around the reason why its wrong to expect the artist to lay an Eggs-Hollandaise dish.
They do not understand creative process, nor do they understand the constraints and narrow scope of viable creations.

Therein lies the conflict. The artist is then accused of: depriving society, is then dismissed as anti-social, and is hung as the 'wrong' kind of chicken, for his her inability to produce the expected flavor by the consumer.

SO, when you ask me my opinion of your work, the best answer you can ever hope to receive form me, as the consumer, is the same old banality that all consumers give out for an answer. Its actually futile to ask.

If I respond to your query, as an artist, the best answer I can give you is this: I suck at math, therefore I must suck at music. However, I can lay a decent raw egg (song).
