I Learned from the early days of AOL that Forum-Moderation, reg/rules etc, is quite possible the worst thing you can do to a Forum service.

I got my verbal spartan skills at the ruthless training grounds of the ACLU sites, which at that time, showed no mercy, regard or considerations on how people might be offended.

What makes this site so cool is that we can talk about pretty much anything. Its only a virtual man cave because our trend is to talk about stuff that most women prolly find extremely boring. You would think the topic of music on a music forum would lure them in..? Really? :D... When was the last time you guys heard any chick rave on about guitar shredding and the diff between Epis and Gibsons?

oh, i've known a few...and played music w a few that were every bit as much of a gearhead as any guy!

peg launter definitely struck me as being similarly afflicted as well.

i used to have some great gear and music discussions w this cuban gal i used to play with. serious gear head who really knew her sh*t. one of my most cherished gtrs is a '67 Guild Starfire II that she used to own. i finally wore her down after bugging her and bugging her to sell it to me.

Girls can be good listeners and are adept at laughing at our jokes...but do we really know for sure that they are that interested (darting eyes right and left, scratching chin and saying: 'hmmmmmm...'). In any case If Ms Peg is a gear head , music head, etc etc , then I am inclined to see her as a musician... not a 'gender'. In that case, as a musician, she would understand our sensitivities :)
