Fifteen year after lead singer Michael Hutchence's death INXS has called it quits. Gotta give them credit for trying but the last time I saw them they were pretty lame. Michael was the heart and soul of the band. Don't change!

Agreed, they should have packed it up. You can't replace a frontman with that much persona. VH might be the only band to ever pull it off, and still it was considered "less" than what it used to be. Journey.. lol - fail.

Agreed VanHagar was a different band.

It think it was almost worse when Michael Anthony left.
You can hear a HUGE difference now.

Chickenfoot is better.

Vocalists often define a band's whole sound.

As well they should in a vocal oriented band setting.

One reason for the shift from NKF to Jericho March despite utilizing some of the same music.

We simply are not the same band.

Though I can understand an "established " band not wanting to lose name recognition in the market place.

I became aware of INXS while watching Miami Vice. They used a song called 'the devil inside' which I thought was pretty damn cool.

singers - always dying or getting drunk or something...

That's the key.

It great to get somewhere but if you let it change you, you may be in for some trouble of one type or another.

"Stay gold, Ponyboy" lol
