Keep on your song... Originality isn't necessarily about who did it first. Sometimes its about who 'had the balls to do it again' ;)

i have no problem w the bridge. there's one spot where you seem to stumble just a little a bit rhythmically w the vcl.... but get that worked out and it works fine for my tastes. nice job.


Ironically, the string (motif ?) in that song is reminiscent of Superstar by the carpenters.

I played some songs of mine with some people Sunday. Was pretty cool.

But we got to talking about one tune where I used an open D, C, G bit and decided to think of how many tunes we knew that used variations of that: Zep, Neil Young, Faces and pretty much everybody else.

There are 12 tones in the scale which suggests only 144 variations are available - just as there are only 7 plots for stories or films.

It's how you do it, I suppose that stamps it as yours. (and the melody line).
