Obviously this is not a war, or neither have any comprehension of what war is.
I don't know when war became became so civil.
In war all civilians should be considered support for combatants and eliminated. That includes women children and babies. That is war and it is UGLY.

Too many times we have allowed our soldiers to be killed because we tried to separate "civilians" from combatants. Yet there will still be that one mother with a baby in arms and a bomb strapped to herself, allowed to penetrate the defenses of compassion.

58 thousand Americans died in Vietnam because we protected the civilian populations. Even if we had a valid reason for that war, it is just proof that our leaders have NO CONCEPT of war.

The massive transfer of land in Israel was executed primarily through two main Laws ...

The Land Acquisition Law ... in 1953 1.2 -1.3 million dunams of land were "expropriated" from the Arab population.

The Absentees Property Law ... in 1950 under which all property owned, possessed or used by the Palestinian Refugees was transferred to the State of Israel .... of a disputed total ranging from 2 million to 16 million dunams. There are slightly over 4 dunams in one acre ... 4.0468727 to be exact.

Vamp, I think you tacked on few things to my points.
First mommies with babies and bombs was about Vietnam, though I also seem to remember a few from the middle east.
Second, the roman empire wiped out all their enemies. They knew that if they let one baby live, it may become the one that grows to attack them again.
Third, the Scots and Irish and English found a different way to beat those horrible plundering Nordic warriors. They assimilated them. Mind you that will not happen in Israel for quite some time, but it is the old Hatfield/ McCoy feud.
Fourth, Time has changed things so much, I don't think we should should give back the lands we brutally stole from the native americans. Also there were way to many of us to even attempt any sort of assimilation.

Then Israel killed a Palestinian child.

Palestine retaliated blowing up a tunnel injuring 1 Israeli soldier and attacking a jeep injuring another 4 Israeli soldiers.

Then the Israelis killed 2 more Palestinian children.

Next Israel fired upon the tent wounding several Palestinians where the funeral services for the 2 previously killed children was being held.

Palestine (Hamas) retaliated and then there was "escalation" from both Israel and Palestine up to Nov 12.

Then another cease-fire was put into place.

Israel then took the "opportunity" to assassinate the Hamas Leader and his son. (yod probably watches this video over and over whilst playing "Light my Fire")

The Hamas Leader they murdered with his Son had with him the "Peace Plan" that both Israel and Palestine had been working on for some time and was apparently about to be approved. I guess we will never know?

Israel purposefully started the war from the time they broke the 1st cease-fire killing the child.

Israel then broke the 2nd cease-fire killing the Hamas Leader and his son and then immediately began bombarding Gaza from the sea, land and air. Netanyahu had called for early elections as his "popularity" was waning. He had promised Obama that he would not do anything until after the US Sham Election was over ... and the "re=election" of the Black Messiah. Of course immediately after this Israel broke the cease-fires and attacked Gaza. You don't think Israel wanted to start a fight ? I think it is all pretty obvious when one is aware of the facts. Netanyahu will regain his poplarity and be "re-elected" like the other Messiah.

Hamas was there is no denying attacking/retaliating in response to Israel attacking/retaliating before all this. Now Hamas is desperately trying to defend against the "defending" of Israel. Palestine has no army and their rocket fire upon Israel remains ineffective especially when compared to the Israeli assault/invasion.

Hamas is not an Army ... it is a political entity duly and democratically elected by Palestinian citizens ... there is a small military contingent however and this is obviously who is doing the retaliation and now defending. Hamas certainly is not large enough to invade Israel nor is it large and extensive enough to be doing everything it is being accused of doing by Israel.
