The bass sounds good? Is that why you can hear the bass strings hit the frets ?

Drumming is something I don't know much about, like music in general.
Thank god I have working ears.

Solo was decent enough as long as you don't mind the ssdd EVH stuff.

At very least, lose the fing treble off that fing bass guitar. The plucking noise is unprofessional, even from him. And it's EASY to tell that's coming from the bass.

well, it took over 2:00 for anything (some lead gtr) to get going besides the rhythm trks. so the first two minutes (and then everything after that short little solo) kinda sounds like "Music Minus One"...backing trks that you'd solo over or sing on top of. w/o some melody instrument, some soloing, some vcls it's just not developed enough as is to hold my interest. there's also some rhythmic stuff that's a little suspect and should be cleaned up (plenty from the drums, some spots from the bass, the gtr is mostly in the pocket).

that's my two cents.
