I don't disagree per se, but my point is about song-smithing...Seems to me that Song Ideas often require assertive direction. Songs which rely solely on inspiration , or care-free emergence, might be the equivalent of randomly splatting paint on a canvas, and calling that 'art' I would call that bullshit.
