Hey Gang,
Man , Im shocked that no chicks have chimed in...

...Well,I tell ya boys...Ive worked with 5-6 females since 75, two on a national level...My experience has been if they play an instrument and have some theory knowledge they treat the band with respect and consider themselves an equal and we (the band ) the same...HOWEVER, the single artist syndrome with the band being salaried and a seperate entity (business wise), a MUCH different story...Its a hostage situation

Seen it happen alot with other female (vocal only) led bands on the circuit as well..Yeah , I ran into a female drummer in NM back in 86 that sure had my respect...Played country with a jazz feel....Also, ya cant beat havin that alto harmony and being able to do Kansas, Journey, Styx etc.....Hey Cindy, are you on here?.....We're talkin about cha...Shes one of the gooderns...Yeah , its sad it has to be that way most of the time, even on a local level...
