We did a New Years gig and the opening act had a young female singer. She had a wireless Sennhieser mic, Im not sure of the model but that thing sounded great. I was helping with the sound and she would jump out in front of the mains with no feedback issues. It cut so good we cut it back a lot. Im most familiar with Shure SM 58s for vocals, but if I was looking at wireless mic I would check out the Sennheiser.
The headset mics Ive heard dont have near as much body to the sound as a normal mic. It seems like you have to over eq them to me to get a good response out of them and then if you are in a high volume situation they tend to feedback a lot. Most of the guys I know who have used them wind up going back to a standard mic.
Sorry I couldnt give anymore input, cause Im just a dumb ole guitar player.
Good Luck
