actually there was a few things you could learn from the debate.

1 Obama has no clue whats going to happen in the future and has no plan to meet it.
2 Romney wants a tax cut for investment firms, cause they are severely pinched these days.
in this he told the truth, no change for the wealthy plenty of change for the working class.
3. Romney doesn't like to draw to much attention to the rising middle class tax and cost of living numbers, cause under him they won't be changing much, if they do change it will be for the worse.
4. Obama goverment investments in green jobs has yielded more fraud and bankruptcy than jobs.
5. Obama is not really sure who's job it is to look after foreign policy on a daily basis.
6 both Romney and Obama seem much more interested in a catchy moniker that describes the assassination of an American ambassador, than the Commander in chiefs responsibility to prevent such things from happening.
7. it's pretty clear both parties are convinced that the empire will shrink substantially in the next decade and it's their job to manage the crash to have the least effect on the ruling classes.

Yes, there is ample evidence, on their respective BMX pages, to prove that Planetguy is a far more capable and knowledgeable guitarist than Glenny and his 'deep as a puddle' blues rock schtick ... but, besides that, Planetguy also plays mallets, mandolin, and upright bass.
