Should the healthcare debacle actually go into operation, everyone will have a piece of paper saying they are covered.
But there won't be any doctors interested in spending huge sums and 8 years in training for the pittance government offers them.
The "pittance" that doctors around the world in other places like England, perhaps? I didn't know the UK was having a doctor shortage.yod wrote:That means you won't have access to health care. You'll be waiting in a line that is designed for saving money primarily by patients dying first.Oh? Just like now?yod wrote:If you have the money, you can go pay exhorbitant amounts for health care to the small amount of doctors left in private practice. That is money on top of what you are already paying the government for something that doesn't work. Just like the failed school system.Like the cops or fire department I have to pay for to come save your sorry asses in an emergency, eh? Why do extremist libertarian idiots believe that they are exempt from the society around them? That what happens to their neighbors doesn't affect them?yod wrote:We're homeschooling because public schools are dangerous and producing full-grown morons....yet we still have to pay taxes for the bad schools that no one wants to go to.So, you're raising homeschooled morons instead, hmmm? Yes, that will go over well if they try to get into college, or employment without a name tag.
Yod, you might be a nice guy in person.
But, arguing with idiots online gives me a headache.
Later, dude.
Your arrogance is only exceeded by your ignorance.
I'll put my kids up against the best you have any day. My youngest son taught himself to read at age four and can rebuild computers and fix networks by age 6.
his older brother is a decorated hero of Korea and Afghanistan, currently studying to be a film-maker at the Art Institute in San Francisco. He turned down a job with George Lucas to make his own documentaries, and won the drum-off in San Francisco last year though his drums are sitting in my garage and he hasn't played them in 2 years.
Their older brother manages a couple of succesful restaurants in Colorado.
Your kids would be nothing but a drain on society that my kids would be paying for.
I hope the gene pool doesn't see you swimming in it before you've had your eyes open by the truth.
