But it did as this onslaught of allergies is especially bad for me as I'm highly allergic to several plants and trees that are common around bodies of water, which by coincidence I frequent. I can't wait til I'm on the maintenance level or strongest level of allergy injections, as I'm NOT going to discontinue fishing, athough I probably should.
My new diet started last night. Man, I'm going to miss a bunch of my favorite foods. However I do prefer breathing....Next gig will tell a lot if I'm making progress.

. I guess that would depend which way the wind is blowing, but I fish much smaller bodies of water usually. I'm surrounded by plants that don't like me. Wish there was more bees to reduce pollen...

Live life to it's fullest Bob.
It is our second most precious gift.

Bob, what special diet are you on?

I know many people who just removed all dairy from their diet, or free use of white sugar, or even red meat and all animal products whose allergies cleared up big time.

My wife suffers terribly. I feel so sorry for her.

Nonsense my friend. You just need a good detoxing . . .

Here's my no-nos:
Dairy, rice, tomatoes, potatoes, tuna, onions, mushrooms, ALL yeast and gluten products, carrots, oranges, grapefruit, lemon, alcohol of any kind, coffee, eggs, etc.

I have to completely re-learn a new diet. Some things I'm not allergic to at all include beef and peppers, which I'm shocked. Aso I can eat chicken and turkey, but NOT their eggs. WEIRD.
The hardest thing for me to avoid is onions. Garlic is okay thank God. Chili peppers are okay, so I can have a few Mexican dishes (beef with peppers and chilis).
I'm going to have to program my Evernote with all the avoid and all the okay foods so when I'm eating out I can keep it straight.

That's an interesting list. Was it based on any kind of 'process of elimination" testing? It's been shown these things antagonize your allergic symptoms?

That just totally and absolutely sucks, man! The very things that are supposed to keep you alive, are killing you instead.

No, actual skin tests and blood panel tests, very comprehensive and accurate. The test showed whether I was slightly to moderately allergic. Thank God I wasn't severely allergic to anything, like some people are to peanuts, but I'm allergic to so many things I have to really watch what I eat and where I fish. Hopefully when I build up to my maintenance level of antigens I"ll be able to fish anywhere. (I'm talking about plant allergies now.) I found out that some people who think they have a cold or indigestion, or even recurring backaches, may actually be suffering allergic reactions. 85% of people are allergic to something. My next test is a urine test to see how much yeast and mold may be ruminating in my system. That can cause all kinds of health problems.
My brother in law found out he was highly allergic to all kinds of plants but almost no food allergies. He was worried he would have to stop drinking beer or coffee, the latter I'm allergic to the most. That's okay, I never really drank much coffee anyway.

Just because a man whose body may well be in a hyper-toxic state responds negatively to a large variety of substances does not necessarily mean that the individual is "allergic" to all those substances.

Here's a little info for what it's worth.

( 1 ) We are "allergic" to most every damn thing we eat / drink.
Our bodies naturally via liver kidneys ( and various other organs working in conjunction ) detox everything we consume.

( 2 ) Most of the foods we eat have many chemical compounds in common both natural an foreign.

A serious detoxification can return the systems to homeostasis.
But am MD won't make a dime from your knowing that.

My allergist says the best way to "detox" is not to eat what you're allergic to. It's a slow process, six months or so to remove the effects of a food you've been consuming for years.

Good luck, Bob! With a 'no eat' list like that, I'd probably start losing some weight (because Iwouldnt' be able to find anything I could eat that I liked!)

I'm a vegetarian anyway, and just can't eat gluten, and my health is decent. It is alarming you would be actually allergic to things in every food group. Unreal. Is there a family history of allergies?

The idea seems to be to remove allergic foods, boost immune system as a result, and then you will not have problems with plant life and pollens?
