I think this is a vintage Atlas 763 mic stand but the microphone is not known? anybody see one of these mics before? and if so, what is the make & model?.. I don't think Atlas made microphones but do know they made high quality stands like this one..

....the base has the rust to prove it's been well used.

alright you guys! LOL! yesterday I was trying to get help identifying this unique item.. you would be surprised at the people who thought it was a breast pump? (maybe it is, but I think it's a bloodletting cup?) LOL :lol:

I disassembled this mic to try and find maybe a maker's name on one of the components inside but found none.. prolly had a paper label on the exterior and has been removed or worn away(stickem went bad)

if I recall vintage Atlas Sound mic stands had a red and black "metallic paper" label.. it was ovular shaped?

ovular - a word to describe someone that just isn't there and doesn't understand life...
that person usually sucks only half the time, but when they suck, they suck pretty bad.
they're not as bad as a square, but they sure as hell aren't a circle.

so dane, does that thing work? looks like that's a STEREO 1/4" phone jack on the end of that cable, yes? wonder why it would be stereo. :?

I guess I will have to test it using my guitar amp since I don't have a PA system....must be a high impedance dynamic mic?
