"What right do you have to complain"? Come on Samick, what does that mean? Everybody has a right to complain about whatever they wish. What they don't have a right to do is make the purveyors of any given site give them what they want. And I am under no such delusion, or desire, about BandMix. It's basically a good place, which is why I decided to hang my hat here. That doesn't mean it's immune from suggestions by it's users, does it?
And on the notion that free sites attract only musical newbies and dimwits. That is very untrue. I am also on MySpace, which is free, and I belong to two groups there: "Piano Players" and "Composers". The Piano group has some of the most amazing talent I've ever heard on it. The composers group has participants who discuss everything from music theory (on a PhD level, I can tell you) to comparative tonal variations of the post modernists. Yes, MySpace has their teenyboppers, but let's not make one broad sweeping generalization about sites of its type when it comes to musicians.
