Perhaps, just perhaps I was tested, quite thoroughly, by the right doctor, an experienced allergist, and as it turns out I have developed allergies to a bunch of different foods, some that I suspected and some I was shocked to find out. They have mainly affected my head, ears and nostrils being severely restricted, thus the dizzines and lack of oxygen. It takes six months to work an allergic food out of the body and I start my new diet IN EARNEST tonight. I'm sick of feeling sick and nearly passing out a number of times, including at gigs.
I know we all have to die someday, but I want to feel a little better along the way. And perhaps hear bettter and maybe sing better, if at all possible.

That's good news Bob! I can't imagine what it is like to have something wrong with you and for doctors to not be able to figure it out! I believe I mentioned the problem our bass player Randy has been having. He just spent the first part of this week in Kansas City at a specialist. We have a hell of a medical center here in Houston. He tells me those dr. in K.C. have helped him and he is making strides toward getting better. We have a gig tomorrow night I guess he'll fill me in on details then.

Glad to hear you are getting some relief Bob!

. Apparently I can't eat gluten OR anything with yeast. I CAN eat buckwheat which I happen to love so it's off to Whole Foods market tomorrow to find what buckwheat products they sell.

. Maybe bass players are more allergic to stuff than other musicians...I wonder if he's seeing an allergist?

Yeah, really.
I tested as allergic to EVERYTHING.
My allergist charges over $200 for each shot though.
I had to stop taking them.
Can't afford that sh*t.
I'll have to stock up on Allegra, I guess.

My bass did this to me, didn't it?

Oh, around.
Working on some material as a duo, since we keep getting flakes on Craigslist.
We're still looking for collaborators, and may have a few lined up.
But, I think we'd be better off to just put a set together and play some gigs as a two-piece for awhile.
We're setting up our gear to fit into one car with two people and a tape deck a'la bands like Timbuk 3, They Might Be Giants, or Ween...
...except LOUDER & NOISIER.
Temporarily, I think, we are going with the name Jackalope...until we think of something better. :)

A duo sounds interesting, why not with the economy the way it is and flaky muscians coming and going in most bands these days. I hope it works out for you.
