I'm going to tell president tyrant dictator and see if he can put a stop to that right away. People don't need jobs that make America energy independent.

Anyone figured out that what president tyrant means by "Energy dependent" is to take away all our energy so that we don't use as much. His vision of America becoming energy independent is through limiting our usage to the level of the guys living in huts in Africa.

maybe with Obama's help and intelliget usage of monies in the tax coffers, we can come up with a good mode of transportation.. one of those motorcycle cars or something that are sold all over southeast Asia but for some reason the NeoCons will not let them into this country.. you ever notice the vehicles that are sold all over the world that are not allowed into the U.S.? wonder why?..

my point was, is the BIG THREE automakers have lobbyists in Washington keeping the affordable gas efficient relatively inexpensive vehicles out of the U.S. because they fear what it would do to their market? or is it because the American consumer does not know about these inexpensive vehicles or desire to own one? I'm with Slacker, I'd love to have something that would get a few sacks of groceries home, or haul home a few auction boxes.. I AM THINKING A TATA NANO would fit real nice, but the Big Three are not allowing TATA Motors into the U.S. ??

The big boom is natural gas but you won't hear about it from the government blow jobs.
They want you to think we are running out of fuel.
It is simply not true.

...it seems it is much easier for the all seeing eye of the enlightened to turn off the natural gas than it would be to turn off the coal ... hence Obama's "promise" to drive every coal plant broke and to shut them all down.

I think that given the Emperor's track record of conflicting lies then because he says one thing then in fact does exactly what he says he will not it makes it difficult to believe him but rather easy to not.

I have two F150's with 390's...one is my Tool Truck and the other is a Mess Truck. 1960 and 1969 respectively. Beasts but not 4 wheel drive.

It's been proven that a combination of relatively small solar and wind generation on-site (in most places) can supply a household with all the power needed, year round. Fuel cell and electric cars are also viable, powered by the household generation, and backed up by biofuel is also perfectly viable.

All we need to do is invest heavily into the industry, and innovation and competition will take over (one of the few good things about capitalism)

..but the people who make disturbing profits off your dependence have banded together to make sure gridlock- in congress, the EPA, and just about any other body that can change things, is holding.. Those people are also making sure that the public is misinformed and kept blind to it, and of course- paying their gas and electric bills...

I have a few friends that work in the Energy Department. They all tell me that solar power is 20 times more expensive than fossil fuels. I also recently met a man from Mississippi who can produce solar energy for 1/4 the cost it is now. That is still 5 times higher than fossil fuels for the forseeable future.

I'm working with him to establish a new kind of economic system on native American reservations in 2013. They will be energy independant before the rest of the country is, starting at Ft Apache Arizona.

It is simply not true.

IF you make a living off the use of the truck, F150 is an excellent purchase.

FYI I have seen more F150s broken down than I ever saw a toy car like mine broke down...

I get @ 40 mpg, I can take winding , hilly country back roads/ dirst or pavement more nimbly and a heck of a lot faster than the F150 could. I will admit that on the dirt roads its a hazard to the cowling underneath, But all and all, Im thinking time critical emergencies are never an issue ...I can sneak around pretty much any traffic jam (if I have to) without creating havoc and bottle necks ...AND my lil toy car is a babe magnet! ...Not that I use it for that , of course... And the draw back is it only draws babes that have a death wish and love speed..

Solar energy is a farce. Solar cells are both expensive $$$$$$$$ and low in output energy. If that isn't bad enough, the rays of the sun gradually destroy them.

It takes an arm full of them just to get a couple of amps at 12volts. So what would that do? It would run your AA or AAA battery charger for a while. Not only that, they would have to track the sun. I imagine the tracking motors would take up as much or more than the solar cells put out.

And that's about it. Go price them, and be sure to see how many amps they put out and at what voltage. Check the voltage out and the current. ratings and you will see how useless they truly are. Solar energy has been a farce since the early 1950's when small ones came on the market for experimenters.

I saw a scam on TV selling a solar battery charger for your car. When I looked into it I saw that it would take about a year to charge a dead car battery. So what good is solar energy? It made some politicians rich through insider trading... and when the money was all gone, they pocketed theirs and went home.

I wonder what great advances they have made since then. Anyone got specs and prices?
