Thanks For listenin'. "I Put A Spell on You "is an old Screamin J Hawkins tune that,s been covered many times, most noteably by" The Animals" and "Creedence Clearwater Revival". Your right, it is a great progression to lead in! This take was recorded "live in the basement" about two years ago with "The Gin House Rockers" . Guitarist "Chef Jim ",moved out of state and drummer D.B. had a conflicting work schedule. That left just my son Ry (on bass) and myself to carry on. Anyways, laying off for a while allowed me to get a lot of other work done, and to hone my playing skills.(I received a great old piano for Fathers day). Thanks to "Bandmix" I've been getting response from other local musicians. This audio thing might scare em' away!

HowlinJ, fascinating story there. That stinks that most of your band is not there any more. But it sounds fine the audio, so do not worry about it making people not want to contact you. It is a good sound, shows you got a lot of talent. But you should put a couple more tracks on there if you have any. I am a big supporter of having audio uploaded when looking for people to join the band. The more the better.

I know there are many versions of that song, I think I have heard about 3 or 4 if my memory serves me right.

Bandmix is a very good site, if I was looking for band members right now I would pay the membership fee. It is the best site out there actually, and it is kept clean unlike most websites.

Good luck with your music, I hope it brings you much success!

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.
