yeah, but are you sure that's the axe he used on the recording? sounds like he's using a phase shifter (prolly an MXR Phase 90... since they were all the rage back then).

damn, i miss "Midnight Special" and Don Kirschner's "In Concert".

Most of them actually played their songs. I think some lip synced their stuff! A couple years ago I was BBQing on a sat and watching "The Reverend Al Green" he was REALLY performing and he had a broken arm it was in a cast! That was a good day!

Bummer! Look at the bright side you'll be making money instead of spending it!

I am playing with Wiseguy this Sat at Captain Jacks Beach Bar on the Seawall tomorrow. Its an early gig 5 to 9pm. The weather here has been absolutely amazing! lows at night 65 to 70 highs 85 to 90 with unusally low humidity. so it should be a good gig!

besides the straight ahead jazz stuff..we'll be doing more blues, funk, and cover tunes for this gig so really the bass gtr is the way to go.

hawaiain shirts...yeah right on. i've also got CLOSET FULL OF 'EM! i used to play steel drums, marimba, and gtr in an island band that did a lot of Buffett, Harry Belafonte, and originals in that style and that's all we ever wore!
