Looks more like a DJ toy, but it is a digital recorder it seems, multi-track that records to the iPOD as a hard-drive, and works with a DAW as a digital interface I suppose. Has 100 28-Bit effects.

So, we'll see. If nothing else, it may prove useful as a multi-track scratch-pad for working out song arrangements and saving some studio time.

But we're hoping it records well enough, and the effects and mixing are nice enough to record demos, when we are too poor to get them done in the studio!

I've got a feeling it's geared toward DJ's and small acts that play with backing tracks, cause besides recording, you can play the iPOD through the mixer, while mixing the other instruments and vocals.

Those are great .You can record live too. We have one simular
but It takes our studio engineer to show us. Still will record in studio where our engineer does a fantastic job where we couldnt come close great toy for practice.
