You also don't have any idea as a women what it is like to to pull a 600lb boiler out of a basement or do the heavy work that may be required of the male side of mankind. This is the worst time of the year as far as workload.
If I can't take in at least 6000 or more calories a day, my weight drops as much as 10 lbs a day. RED MEAT along with veggies and anything else possible is good.
I like your veggie recipe but, I would starve on that.
As far as anxiety,,,, Seems to be way to much of that going around lately.

I've had anxiety/depression since the 70s, I've dealt with a lot of personal madness. However now, I really think we're overloaded from a population standpoint and then all the electronic cellphones and other stuff doesn't help either. We're electrical human beings, we're all connected, and we can feel each other's thought patterns and so on. With the planet being overpopulated, all that energy is like overload. I'm very sensitive to things like that.
I can understand how a man like you with a heavy workload would need more calories, but if you don't do all that labor. Being that I sit in an office all day, I have to compensate. I do get my 1/2 to 1 hour walk in a day, but at least I can keep my weight at an acceptable level.
I have to be on medication, Glenn and medication isn't all bad. I've tried numerous natural therapies with my anxiety/depression and they don't work, I wind up crashing and each crash is worse than before. I finally got a good doctor who helped me find the right medication. I take a very low dose and once I started taking the pill, I felt my "normal" self again, like I did before I had my kids. I don't get any attacks at all now. If I quit, I could go maybe 6-9 months and I'd be okay, but then all I need is one stressful event and it sends me for a loop and then it's uncontrollable. No bueno.
