...Klugmo ...you are not off base in your statements. When I lived in Sonoma, Ca. I taught dance to the "priveledged" winery trash and most were teens to 25 or so and all were spoiled with cellphones growing out their ears. Doomed to share the fate of Cheryl Crow most probably. Male or female were generally lazy, stupid and out of touch getting whatever they wanted. clothes, cars, ipads you name it. In Cuernavaca those that were of the upper class were much the same. My wife teaches in a private school and they are pretty much the same despite their young age...1st and 2nd graders. It is truly depressing. At times I feel like one of the old muppets up in the balcony if you know what I mean. I for one do not believe you to be mistaken in your observations and statements.

Because that area is one of my favorite in the world. And Calistoga (near Sonoma) is my alltime favorite town. It is specatacularly beautiful in that part of CA.

all is not so dark, many young people joined the military over the last decade.

...Mike Talbot ... I thank you for your Post. I lived in Sonoma ... actually on the creek in "Schellville" which used to be a settlement on it's own. I taught dance at the Sonoma Community Centre and High School. After that I moved to Petaluma. My Dance Companie called "NeoDanze" performed in Calistoga, Yountville, Napa. Sonoma. Cotati. Santa Rosa, Guernville, Point Arena, S/F and many other places in Northern California.

Teaching my own style of modern dance and movement based on martial arts and fencing combined with classical forms..I have always had my fingers upon the pulse of the youth more than most. Of course all are not bad but they are now in the minority ...ask any teacher. Drug use is epidemic as is laziness and lying. It is very difficult to enlist or hire anyone who is reliable and Honourable now who is young. The youth of our country are rapidly declining in quality and what used to be true ... like going to the military is not at all what it used to be either. DU, suicide, vaccine related conditions and drugs and alchohol are destroying the US military...not very inspirational I am afraid. It is no wonder that atrocities are also epidemic in all many of the 65 countries that the US military is currently "occupying".

Of course we need not even speak of the failing educational standard or jobless and inflating economy. This all translates to a very "dark" future for all of us. And that future I believe has arrived.

It is dreadful but it is reality and we must deal with it not deny it or not care about it ... the best ways we can. The youth are the future and as is the case in Japan now the youth are fast joining the ranks of the walking dead. The Japanese are going extinct now. Their country is finished. Very soon it will be the US I think.

If I am hearing what I believe I heard, two things are coming to America. Hunger and bloodshed.

....Slacker...YES. and most probably in that order. The average citizen will not be motivated until they are hungry ... anew and unfamiliar state for most. Once they become hungry then their motivation will most definately kick it but it will not be of shall we say ... a pure nature. Once hungry the "Rulers" will be able mold, manipulate and manuever as they so wish. The masses will trot to WalMart and get their shots in exchange for food, turn their neighbour and families in for food, relocate leaving their homes for a rat box in a "sustainable" community in an urban area for food, surrender and turn in their guns, reporting those who do not for food, get chipped and marked with their families for food. Of course there will be a few terrorists, insurgents and the like who will resist so they will be exterminated. Those "sentenced" or "protected" in the FEMA camps will not be staying there long. Plans to "take care" of them have long been laid.

Why else is the government massing huge amounts of hollow points and still denying it and trying in their stupid obvious ways to mask it ? Lie Lie Deny Deny Why Why ?

I heard today that our troops are running short of ammunition. Funny thing. Homeland security and a gazillion other government enforcement enteties appear to have all they need.

I am an optimist. The bad guys have to win first before the happy ending. I'm looking past what is ahead of us.

I would rather have my head chopped off as opposed to living under the iron fisted rule of these tyrants, should they get their way. They won't get anything special when they come after me.

I feel sympathy for the stupids and the young who will have a bleak future if any under a Marxist / Socialist regime. It will be brutal. One day they are Americans living in a free society, with the ability to shape their own futures, the next they will be oppressed slave labor for the ruling class.

At that time they will understand that those living in America (even those living on welfare) are considered the rich 1% by this egomaniac tyrant , and those in the third world countries all over this world are the 99% to whom he wishes to give your"wealth".
