I'm confused- what did he do to end up in the slam?

Driving down the road with his stereo blaring prolly rap with the bass thumpin just finished smoking a joint (the only one they had) redneck cop doesn't like the music pulls him over smells weed. Pulls them out of the car searches them searches the car can't find weed is pissed off. He does however find papers and a roach clip (illegal in Texas) can't find anything else. Said redneck is mad cause he can't make a (BIG BUST) arrest him for paraphenalia (usually a ticket) won't let his friend take the car and has it towed. all said an done 1K out of pocket for now! I guess this is a case of those RACIST LAWS! You know the kind they only arrest black folk for?

They were playing black music, he probably thought they were black guys at first. So yes, play that card, it's well played!

A friend of mine a few years ago (she was 18 at the time) was at her friends house, and the friend had a nice pot plant growing, she thought it looked cool, so she took one of the leaves and put it into that plastic picture thingy in her wallet. Months later, she's in a car that gets pulled over, they all get searched....

That one leaf, pretty much hard-pressed in a plastic coffin was discovered. She ended up getting sentenced a YEAR in county, not eligible for early release or parole.

Oh yeah, she's white. The laws don't say anything about black people, up here at least

Anyways, the laws are stupid and way outdated. Prohibition doesn't work, never did. This girls life was wrecked over a weed that grows naturally out of the ground. Stupid.

Had the same problem with my step son. Popping wheelies in front of the police station at 3am and one of his pals had a roach.

I agree, stupid. Any suspected potheads get as hassled as minorities and they get stiffer sentences than people who rape and kill. People talk about welfare, but we spend more tax dollars housing people in jail for oftentimes minor marijuana offenses than we do for hardened criminals. It's a big racket. The people and their families wind up paying big money in court fees.

I've been advocating to legalize marijuana and I don't even smoke it. I've had more than four uncles who drank themselves to death and I find alcohol far more abusive than marijuana.

Legalize! I won't stop fighting this.

... Yes. There are more real criminals in government, wearing "robes" and police/TSA uniforms ... being Prison Guards, Wardens and Barristers than there are behind bars I think at times.

Each year more laws are passed when the existing ones can not even be enforced. I personally feel the root of all these issues is simple Freedom but so many are not aware that the entire stupid process merely negates the Constitution and basic Freedoms.

Obama is pouting that he can not indiscrimanenty arrest and disappear his subjects and is appealing it....poor baby.

Dawg, in the middle of Mariposa, I get a call from the Local jail, it's my youngest son, I FORBID him to go out tonight as I am paying for his gas and he quit his job a month ago. I just bought his new uniforms for work tomorrow and gas for his car! He gave me Sh!t about going out! I am practicing tough love and it breaks my heart but I told the boy "it sucks to be you have a nice weekend in jail"

You did the right thing Jeff. Same thing happened to my older brother when he was a kid... After a weekend in Jail, he never did stupid sh*t again...Its amazing what life lessons can do for our character.

In NY people are buying pipe tobacco and rolling their own cigs. This is just to avoid the $6 dollars of tax being illegally imposed under the name of the law. This country has gone nuts.

Let me get this straight,,, Your son got busted because he had papers and 500 million illegal people crossing the borders without papers are eligible for free everything, including medical marijuana therapy.
