Next time I promise to look strictly at my guitar. Maybe I'll play much better.

Thanks for the help.

They're laughing at you because it looked like your Depends were full!

hey, you talentless hack... instead of huffing and puffing w empty threats let's do this.....when you come down here i'll give a couple of guitar lessons.

we can work on your (lack of) time, weak phrasing, ass-tone, and out of tune string bending. and maybe we can get you learned one a them there scale thingies...i mean besides that one pentatonic scale you mercilesssly drive into the ground.

i normally charge $25 per hr. but i might have to charge you a little more......since i've never faced the challenge of working w anyone who's mentally impaired.

i'll leave the light on for you.

To play the blues when your 18, devote all your
time and effort to it, spend all your money on guitars
and amps. Then your solos will start saying I'm tired
of eating bologna sandwiches everyday, and you'll know
the blues. :)

I posted the three blues-based tracks I've recorded on my player, Gershwin's "Summertime", Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" and The Farleys "Another Night". I'm just a prunk rocker not a bluesman lol.

Killing floor,,,, Cool Jimmy,,, here I been bustin' your chops all these years and suddenly you reveal got some some chops of your own :)

I liked that because it gave you some personality. I know it's not what the Farleys do, but I thought it was nice to hear something different from you .

COOL. 8)

Paleopete

Exactly right. Two people can play the same sequence of notes and one sounds like he just squeezed a bunch of sour grapes.

the other sounds like he's wailing. BB King is definitely like that. Some of his leads would fail in anybody else's hands. He seems to just make any note he lands on sound like exactly the right note.

right on! nice not to hear hear the same tired attempts at trying to ape the great versions of Howlin' Wolf or Albert King.

not a slam at all....but your singing reminds me some of mike bloomfield's. a lot of folks just wanted him to shut up and play but i always dug his singing too. when he sang i never felt like he was trying to sell anyone a car or sumptin'.

Thanks PG, but I'm only singing on "Killing Floor". Rasta sings on "Another Night". My singing leaves much to be desired, I'm more comfortable doing harmony backups.

Well then thank you sir! BTW "Killing Floor" was a live take, I went back and added a rhythm track afterwards. I always wanted to redo the lead but everyone said just leave it.

Glom away, I'd love to hear it. All blues is pretty much borrowed (stolen) anyway.
