Simple truth is he's losing his battle with Cancer. I suspect he'll not be with us long. We really are not "close" as family go, though I love my sister in law like my own.
It hurts some . . .
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green [1] pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest [2] my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Thanks in advance.

George, I am sorry for what your family is going through! Please know your family is in my Prayers!

I have indicated that Neural Blasthoma's are a HORRIBLE way to go! I lost a very DEAR friend and musical "soul mate" to this!

and given your behavior over the last few months I would say that you don't have proper control over your emotions.

am I correct in assuming that you recently stopped drinking?

You are absolutely correct SIR!
Having said that I would like to make myself perfectly clear! I told my doctor this! "I will NEVER stop drinking" LOL! I drink 3 or 4 beers once a week! Another day that same week I might drink 20 or 12 if that makes me an alcoholic please do NOT expect me to join AAA because that is for quitters and NOBODY likes a QUITTER!

JCP61 you have not insulted me! I think your response was a little insensitive! It just affirms my assumption that you sir have trouble articulating your feelings. I KNOW most of us musicians have the same problem! To you sir I say that doesn't make you a bad guy!

I wasn't trying to insult you by any means,
just expressing my point of view.

I suppose you could say there is a difficulty articulating my feelings,
or you might say i have difficulty making my feelings palatable to the general public.

Hello friends, I must say I was really touched by the way you folks stood up for me! I can be BRUTALLY honest sometimes but I am going to work on that! I knew you guys are good folks, you too JCP61! What I am starting to figure out (and its about time) this internet thingy can be hard for us older folks to articulate the meaning of our words. Think about it? I can sit here on the Texas gulf coast and discuss topics with people from different up bringing's and very different cultures! Having said that we are REALLY basically the same. We sit at our computer monitors trying to interpret things said from THOUSANDS of miles away! I feel like I am really going through a GROWTH EXPERIENCE! I am LEARNING and after all WE have been through that is a positive and I thank you ALL FROM THE BOTTOM of my heart! REALLY thanks for putting up with "The MULLETMAN" :D

Around here, it's no secret that guns in movie theaters is a HUGE problem.. lots o people getting shot for no good reason..

so this girl I was with complained the guy behind her was kicking her seat.. I asked him politely to try avoid doing it.. he was a fairly shifty looking goon.. So 10 minutes later this girl spazzes out (and honestly, my seat was connected, and I felt and saw NOTHING).. the guy is now agitated and she tells me I need to kick his ass..

SO WHY DIDN'T YOU KICK HIS ASS?

You were lucky you didn't get your ass kicked when you asked him politely.
You are obviously just a nice guy.

Sorry man,,, always try to bring a gun to a knife fight, and remember the average person almost always misses in even the 3 foot range.

Damn it Haley,,, I am not going to explain anything to that guy. He is just jealous and vicious and I am just going to stop there.

Thanks for sticking up for me on that thread he posted, but honestly he really doesn't mean anything. I was just sharing one little stupid musical thing. Doesn't even get my hackles up. The biggest problem I have is finding players that are THAT good. Most of the time when I find people that want to play, I end up teaching, or worse I play down to that level.

I bet I would have a good time if I had a chance to sit in with someone like you. Funny thing is I've forgotten more cover songs than any three bands play, and the doesn't include the ones I remember.

Tony, my old buddy and drummer friend wasn't happy with this last bass player. I listened to some of the stuff we did and we actually sound better as a 2 piece. I really don't like arrogant bass players that aren't that good, and if you are that good and pushing us over the top I will overlook a bit of arrogance. In the meantime I'm not going to be hurt by some one like that. It really doesn't matter.

Thanks for the thought my friend.
