No, she didn't say that. They were trying to say she said "all this for a damned flag" when they were trying to say she said "how pretty they fold that flag." I checked her lips out several times and it looked nothing like she said "all this for a damned flag" and theres no sound, people. I don't know if she said the other thing, but I do know it wasn't "all this for a damned flag."

Then "all this for a damned flag" becomes "what a f**k waste."

Thats not what she said Chaeya. I saw the doctored versions, the ones you are talking about, photo shopped ,what ever. Facts are that John Mccain rolled over and actually started apologizing for campaigning against President Obama. I have not a clue why.
There is something really screwy going on in this country right now. I mean way beyond the president you voted for Chaeya.
In other words there are some bigger things going down here than the average person will ever figure out.

I don't give a rat's ass where anybody was born if they can get things on track. And sure enough, the powers that be went to work to cockblock him at every turn. Then the press went to work highlighting how rich he was so the people would turn against him. This is our wonderful State of California where officials loved collecting a paycheck and not attending any of the meetings they were supposed to concerning the departments they headed, or working even, but they sure love to cut school funding and then vote themselves a raise. And this isn't so much a Republican or Democrat problem but a human "all about me" problem.

The problem with politics is the problem that permeates everything is that you're dealing with humans. And the rabbit hole runs deep and one day there is going to be a very sad day for Americans when the truth comes out, and it didn't start with Obama, he's only continuing the plan. ... I have said on many Posts All Politicians. This includes that brainless piece of Nazi gristle who you actually admit voting for. I lived in California far too long but this was after the "Beat" thing. But I pretty much agree with the majority of what you stated. No need to get your knickers in a twist. I always enjoy your Posts and find them thoughtful and well stated ... yes even when I do not agree. Obama is lost without his teleprompter and speech writers and will eventually be shown to be a complete FOOL. Voting and "thinking" do not seem to go together but no one seems to get this and every 4 years they lose their brains and trot off to the polls "thinking" and "believing" and fooling themselves "making a Choice" ... It is like a bad fairie tale. But you can have your opinion and i respect that right. But when it comes to arguements about political filth then there is only one Truth and that is whoever the filth be ... they are lying, incompetent and evil little parasites. I lived in California (San Diego) long enough to see Gray Davis come an go...and BTW that guy was plain despicable. Arnie Signed My Diploma, I thought he was gonna fix things... But Unsurprisngly , he got hoodwinked by the politicos of CA.

I knew that California was headed for the toilet when I hear d some idiot ban smoking and had the audacity to say that the raise in taxes for tobacco would pay for California health care. I knew then that I needed to get out of California, cause the liars were out of control and the biz sector had become a bonafide Good ol Boys club.
In the ensuing years , while I enjoyed an easier life in Texas, I was reading all the time about the trial and struggles in California. All I can say is I'm glad I left that state. (Though sometimes I do miss it)
