I guess I should say I also really like to listen to JW 123 play...having heard him in the room with me in addition to his online recordings...great player.

I have no idea if I would even think about picking a "best", but JW, Sans and Neanderpaul are guys I just like to listen to and respect as both people and musicians.

Say what you want about Neanderpaul using "gimmicks" you can't play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and even kazoo, without being a good musician to begin with, no matter how you put it all together. I can play all those instruments and more myself, and I know what it takes to learn them. How many people on here can play even 2? You have to hand it to Neanderpaul, he's very talented. That's why he was the 1st one I named. Talented to the bone...

Hell I'd jam with almost anyone here. Even though I rarely do free gigs anymore, I do still hop on on stage with other bands to do a song or two if I'm in attendence.. that's a lot of fun without all the work

Hum favorite on bandmix, I guess for versatility and being really original I would pick Neaderpaul, Ive seen him live and he amazed me the way he wove his songs together.

Ive seen Paleopete in my house playing on my guitars and honestly I just enjoyed listening to him playing fingerstyle acoustic stuff, in fact I didnt even try to play with him just soak it in.

Shredder, I would have to go with Crip, he can just wail in my mind.

On a lessor level shred wise I like Sean, I know he gets a bum rap at times, but he is really really good, would love to hear him in a live band and see how he would develop.

Haley is one of the better cover players Ive heard on here, I watch some of his videos and his band as a unit is great, they just click and Haley nails guitar tones, hu hum (clean) way better than I ever have been able to. He also has that making it look easy look that I like to see, plus he looks like he is having a blast!

But in the end my favorite player on guitar would be Jimmy. I mean hes in the Farleys, punk and for anyone here that hasnt heard them they are the real deal to my ears, just a lot better production. He recently mentioned his new cover band doing songs that are a bit different, some I would love to do, but the clincher on him for me was that Bolero he posted a couple of years ago. Punk to Prog, I like to call him a Prunk Rokker on FB.

Best original song was Burn by Shredd 6, I have a copy that we play at our gigs between sets, and it still sounds great and I even get people asking me who it it, Hell I dont even know Shredd 6s name, but I respect that song Burn enough to let other hear it.

Kramer I havent heard any of your stuff lately, I would love to hear you play YYZ these days, you were kinda off in that old one you had posted, but with all the playing youve been doing since you cut out of here, Im sure you could rip my head off with it now.

FOr those folks that mentioned me, thanks, I really dont think of myself as that great of a guitar player, just a cover hack who loves to make faces when I play.

Seriously John, there are so many good players here and I think of myself as just average. And I doubt anyone would call you a hack.

I usually refuse to take part in these kinds of things, if you don't mention someone they get butthurt.

Pete, That's a given... There are musicians on this site, , who in my opinion are exceedingly talented, beyond...(and it's a mystery to me why they aren't sweeping the world.) Using gimmicks isn't a bad thing, and NP ranks up there in the talent.. But for me personally, Loopers and cigar box guitars doesn't do it for me. Its great the first 50 times..but after that...
