Just something else to add, coming from an engineer, it could be electrical issues unrelated to the guitar and amp. Maybe. Consider getting an affordable power conditioner if you do not already have one. It keeps the juice steady, and also filtered. Another thing is keeping microphone and guitar cables off of power chords.

my Epi dot SHB doesn't buzz, but it's much quicker to feedback than any other solid body guitars I have. I assumed it's the hollowness trapping frequencies.
