I am not going to be dragged into this issue. This is a minor issue if all the great things in America are working. BUT THEY ARE NOT WORKING. People are hurting big time. I won't even blame Obama. It has been a slow erosion.

His comment about women's bodies stopping pregnancy by internal factors is an unproven concept. Akin is not the first person to mention it.

If a Democrat said something like this the MSM would not even cover it, or give him a total pass if they did cover it. HOW many women came forward to accuse Clinton of everything from sexual harrassment to rape, and HOW much did the MSM dig in to investigate?

Akin is not the brightest bulb in the closet for sure, but this is just a desperate attempt by the Obamamedia to control the news cycle and take focus off Obama's train wreck presidency.

After all, Biden is VP. Shall we make a list of the completely ignorant things that man has stated in his whole career in politics?

I really was just trying to poke fun with a political thread, but in all frankness, I wasn't poking fun at rape, I was poking fun at how some idiot categorizes different levels of rape.

I've dealt first-hand with the after-effects of rape (a loved one), and it's DEVASTATING to that person, and often times their closest loved ones, as we end up dealing with the PTSD and other mental ailments that result.

This culture of blaming the victim and categorizing different "legitimacy" of rape is appalling. It's been pretty obvious that some politicians are dead-set on reversing women's rights. If you've looked at the transcripts from rape cases in the last 10 years, you will find overwhelmingly that the rape victims often get accused of "asking for it" by proxy and end up spending more time proving they weren't asking for it than proving the rape itself..

I usually am the first person to bitch about women.. but I will defend them to the bitter end when it comes to them being victimized.

Yeah, people like mike tyson, bill clinton, they do attract the psycho fake-victim, but that's more the exception- I don't know what to say to that except that maybe people in the spotlight should be more careful about who they bang.. get a consent form first or something .. there's an idea.. get that sh*t notarized too.

I beg to differ about liberal media. In this nation the media is biased when it comes to Obamma. They are even reporting trumped statistics as to who is in the lead. The Obamma media and liberals are the one making the big deal out of this "one mans statement"! You liberals want america and the poor to believe the Republican party is against them!
