In all fairness, I didn't read the article by Forbes. I lost my trust in most mass media outlets, especially magazines. There's no citations, much like the mass media, or we get handed a set of facts that are incomplete and paint a slanted picture of any and every topic through lies of omission.

I generally prefer to read independent media sites, but often those tend to lean either right or left and bias eventually comes out.

Back to the subject- I did attempt to google facts on the GM bailout / payback, and discovered that the internet is plagued with massive amounts of what can only be called "consipracy theories" about the GM loan, I saw numbers that ranged everywhere from $2b to $122b that GM allegedly still owes. I find it amusing that they can owe $122b on a $25b loan, but that sounds more like a wall street loan than a guv loan.

Anyways, after 5 pages of nonsense, some of which was the classic Fox, CNN, MSNBC venom, which also all had vastly different versions of the "truth" and numbers, I just gave up.

Personally I've yet to find a single news site that genuinely takes a non-biased approach to the news and just delivers verifyable facts and additionally cites them- ALternet.org sometimes has decent articles, but is clearly left-leaning. Since they just bundle articles from various sources and independent journalists, I guess it's to be expected.

Me Personally I could care less for the Big 3. I have a Mazda, Before that I had a Toyota... In about 6 years I'll go for another Mazda or a Toyota. Best cars for the money. Detroit just turns out more cheap ass sh*t, every year. f**k em ... To Be fair, I actually do own stock in FORD.. for no other reason than they are an American Icon.
