Hey JW, thanks again 75% of their songs are rockin,
they've got a couple played on piano, that I'm working on,
so I can play a bit of piano also. Anything I learn that can
help anybody on this site, I will try to relay it here.
I guess he's selling a number of CDs and ad revenue off
utube also. I think you probably got to get out there and
promote it and sell CDs and merch.

Your right about the bass player Jimmy, he is crafty and talented,
besides regular rehearsals, me and him get together once a week,
to go over my questions on the songs. I think he may be a marketing
genius, I'm going to try to learn everything I can.

Good music, I'd like to see live versions of the songs, not just lipsynching. The youtube hits seem to have mostly come from some service providing them - you can look at the stats for the 2nd one and the views went up 50000 in a couple of days. All the comments on the first one seemed to be very generic, too.

almost like "click fraud" but probably a legitimate service?

I joined up with Rodney and Scott to play guitar/piano,
there utube videos have took off, so they are putting a
band together to go on the road and promote it.
Scott the bass player played all the instruments on the CD,
and me and the drummer are starting to get the hang of
their tunes. We sound better each time we play together.

Here it is "She's Crazy" over 400,000 hits on utube.

That is AWESOME! I Truly hope it works out for you! PLEASE my advise to you would be to "keep your hopes in check" I am sure you guys are gonna kick butt! Having said that there is NOTHING like the let down when you have high hopes and for one reason or another it doesn't quite measure up! Been there done that got a tee shirt burned it and buried it!

team, and that's done), I just enjoy playing with
other talented musicians, closer to my level. It
will work or it won't, but I'm going to give it the old
college try.

It seems easy for people with 2,000 or less hits,
to dismiss them, could we not say the same about
your hits?

not looking buddy for a band, ain't been for years, but I still get phone calls wanting my guitar playing services, but the money has to be better than what is offered, I won't work for free like you.. I even want gas money allowance to get to rehearsals, I don't work cheap, can't afford to with today's economy..

when you said your leader is making money with advertising on u-tube, and then having that many hits, it made perfect sense, CLICK BOMBING being done by people not necessarily your "fans" to get the u-tube account shut down, once google the owner of u-tube sees what's going down.. google will shut it down once they find out or the owner reports abuse and then they might not get the account shut down...
