Sir, that $35 for a ticket becomes $70 if both my husband and I attend. I'm the sole breadwinner in my house and my husband works as a "pro" musician while I hold down the fort.
I think you have been misinterpreting what I was saying. You choose to use your limited 'entertainment' funds in attending 'indie musicians' shows, so you are not forgoing ALL concerts.
If you are the sole breadwinner in your house, your husband isn't pro, he's an unemployed musician!
