At the requisition of none other than Paperdog, and with inspiration provided by JCP61's latest recording .... Vinny Violin loudly presents "4 Door Caprice For Violin"

vinny, i've lost all respect for you. i can abide by your 'merica hatin' ways but the one thing i cannot tolerate is plagerism.

this is clearly and obviously a poor and thinly veiled recreation of Bill Monroe's "Blue Moon Of Kentucky". shame on you, sir!

and besides, i prefer the coupe version of the caprice.

Well close Planetguy, close. I wrote this while emerging from a delirium where I heard the music in it's entirety in an instant ... as played by the Clabber Girl, who was showing me how Byron Berline's part from Country Honk could be extrapolated using techniques taught to her by Olivier Messiaen. I nearly choked on the Reddi Wip! So you can see it is a little different. :D

Ah! You have very finely tuned and sensitive perception Lynard! I also snuck a secondary sub motif from John Cage's 4'33 in there. 8)

Your a raw talent Vinny, if we needed a
violinist, you'd be the one. Were still trying
to work the oboe player in now, but you got
me thinking.

Your playing is similar to Jean Luc Ponty,
when he played for Zappa, only different. :)

That's the one! His original family name was really Clampelli, in his village, but in other areas with the influence of their local dialects, the name changed to Crampelli. Maybe from the cramps caused by eating too many clams?

:D
