just saw an article on the CBS Evening News last night the last segment of the news on Thursday evening 8/9/2012 about a former pro basketball player who is pulling in over 5 million dollars of revenue a year with a truck farm in Milwaukee,,he started with the last 3 acres plot/acreage available within the city and he started with that small plot some years ago, and it has expanded to more acreage now..he supplies a lot of jobs to people who need it in the inner city too.. good money in food production when you don't have to ship it back east from Arizona or California.. as the truck farms in California continue to get saltier from well water it might be a good idea to be thinking ahead where you will get food once the California commercial food farms are too salted up to grow stuffl

Pomme de terre - now you know why folks outside the USA call the Brits "pommies." We still call them 'limies,' kind of a tradition.

Its just with every one so busy between family and their bands it is next to impossible. Having said that you never know what the future holds!

I don't think he hates this country Jeff.
I think he hates hisself and his lot in life.
I feel sorry for him, but I want nothing to
do with him.

It's like when everybody's picking on the stupid
kid in class, here I am standing up to them and
defending the stupid little bastard. After saving
him from the bullies, the stupid little bastard won't
leave me alone, and I end up having to pop him one
up side his head to get him to leave me alone.
NO I'm not talking about you Dame it's an analogy.

That is a great idea Dane, a truck farm can be a profitable and very positive contribution to society, especially if you go organic. Producing good food and jobs. I hope you do it and enjoy enormous success!!! :D
