Hey Gang,

Heres some tunes I wrote 20 years ago...They were done on an old 4 trk cassette ..I cleaned em up a bit with cool edit...I recorded them with TONs of effects so they're FULL of high mids ....Let me know what ya think?...Im gonna re-record them when I get better with this new fangled tracker ...

Hey Gang,

Thanks guys, I had no clue they would clean up this good...I still have ALOT to learn about cool edit...I just figured out how to edit vol. changes during mixdown.... I tried to record vocals with just the music Id written but I cant seem to get that warm wet effected sound with cool edit yet....I even went back and used the mic I used 20 yrs ago....Cool edits vocal parameters make ME sound too much like ME... ..I NEED MUCH chrs rev.and delay, AND analog compression... ...These graphic EQ's on cool edit are TOUCHY... Back to books I go ...Yeah Irminsul, I am sorta a Buffet fan ...I do 5-6 of his tunes...I prolly really need to go back into the SQ1 and edit some vol.changes in strings and other syth sounds but Man ,thats ALOT of work.... Wish me luck on gettin the hang of this PUTER recording....

Thanks for the kind words...I played up around your area quite a bit years ago...Im" kinda"playin with a band outta Weston...Theyre a classic rock "fairs and festivals"band so our work is seasonal....I know alot of bluegrass musicians in Elkins, Clarksburg...I go to the Jackson Jubilee every year and jam 24/7 for 4 days....Man , I like your material also...You have a varied style..Good stuff....Yeah , Ill prolly put some more of my ole sappyassed love songs up . .Im gettin a kick outta just being able to do it... ...Yeah, the local scene here is pretty dead so Im just mainly woodshedin with all this new computer gear tryin to catch up to all you youngins... .I know your area is better than here so I hope you guys can find some gigs and stay workin ...
