My buddy and I went fishing in Remus, MI a long time ago, the only two tapes we had were "Apostrophe" and "Toys in the Attic". We must have listened to them 50 times each, and to this day everytime I hear a tune from either album it reminds of that day.
I love that tune Uncle Remus off of Apostrophe,

That was the joke, we were in Remus listening to "Uncle Remus". We even drove around looking for lawn jockeys to knock over.

wow...VIBES! though it's very simple playing, it's interesting to hear zappa using mallet percussion (vibraphone) that early on.
wonder if there just happened to be one sitting around in the studio as was sometimes the case back in the day... and after getting a taste that's what led him to include it on much of his stuff thereafter.
