I'd never filter out bandmates based on politics or religion; that's absurd, IMHO...
It never came up when I was playing in bands in my younger years, both subjects were considered off-limits...

The best bands are made up of friends and
families. Look at Fleetwood Mac, Stevie and
Lindsay still get along, as do Christine and John,
and they still like Mick (when he was with Stevie I
would have had aproblem there if I was Lindsay).

around with them?
