No, my brother Abdul, the dog's music is not even worthy of the Satan. It is simply common tripe, stifled by corrupted ambition seeking fame and glory the for undeserving. Not even the dog that pisses on the wall of Babylon shall escape HIS wrath! :D

Mulla, you are a sineless cunt. I spit on your quran and sh*t ooverall pages of it, Why must alll your women wer beards...Do you not allow them any freedoms at all. Let them shave so that we christains can f**k them them in the ears and not feel gay for it...

A dog f**ks anything, yes? If Allah wishes for you to feel gay, Insha'Allah you will feel gay. For such a dog makes no difference really.

Allah is the greatest MUSICIAN! It has been said that a man has latent potential for spiritual growth when he wears his hair in the mullet. One glorious day he will become a mullah ... lest he should perish as a worm trampled on the road to victory by the truly faithful!

I will pray for you Mr. Haley! :D
Islam forbids music there numbnutz

There are some fundamentalist extremists whose interpretation the Koran
would prohibit all secular forms music, they are a minority however.
It is a great tragedy so many Americans, such as yourself, have been brainwashed by the misinformations and propaganda about Islamic faith.
I invite you to visit our mosque and listen to our music. You may ease you cultural myopia and listen to the azan posted on my bandmix page to begin with. :)

Peace be upon you my brother.
Brothers in faith! Let us ask ourselves a question: How can a sane person plunge his noble self into acts of such shameless immorality; acts that believing souls disdain and people of sound nature reject and abhor? Jaabir narrated that the Prophet said, “I did not forbid you from weeping. I have only forbidden you from making two foolish and horrible noises: a noise when playing and using the instrument of Satan and a noise when you are afflicted with a calamity and you beat your faces, tear your garments and make a satanic wailing.” (Al-Haakim).

Brothers in Islam! Music is prohibited and condemned by many Qur’anic verses. Allah says, “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. Music, singing etc.) to mislead men from the path of Allah without knowledge and takes it (the path of Allah, or the verses of the Qur’an) by way of mockery. For such there will be humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire).” (Luqmaan: 6).

Dear Muslims! Music is the voice of Satan with which he instigates human beings into perpetrating evil deeds and acts of disobedience. It is therefore imperative upon every Muslim to shun him and keep away from him. Allah says in this regard, “And befool them gradually those whom you can among them with your voice (i.e. songs, music, and any other call for Allah’s disobedience), make assaults on them with your cavalry and infantry, share with them wealth and children (by tempting them to earn money by illegal ways – usury, or by committing illegal sexual intercourse), and make promises to them. But Satan promises them nothing but deceit.” (Al-Israa’: 64).

And there are many many more verses that I found.
Perhaps your Mosque is different? I know some of the Sufi's are excellent musicians.

Amongst the Taliban and other similar groups, I think you will find the most agreement with the interpretation of Islam that you summon here to defend the tiny bit that you know of this subject. Indeed our mosque is different.
Mr. Baraka,
Please don't underestimate me, I am quite knowledgeable in all the Abrahamic religions. Unlike the rest here, I am quite ready to discuss your delusional religion with you.

In true Musician ego fashion please let me direct you to my recordings, which incorporate many Middle Eastern aspects.

Actually Lynard has a point. "Play every other note." Taking nothing away from Albert King that is hardly advice to anyone by a beginner.

In King's defence - how do teach people how to play guitar in a sound byte?

Peace Mr Hadey, if your going to come on and give a
hot tip you should at least know what your talking about.
I can teach you chord and scale theory, but to get mad
at me when I try to make a suggesstion as to what you
might mean, surely displays your musical knowledge.

You know I went around town here yesterday and nobody,
here had heard of Albert King, I guess I'm a bigger fish
in this little pond I live in.

Peace

What Albert King was saying is your playing TO MANY NOTES! You have to hang back and lote a note breath! I may have miss quoted him, it could have been play every other lick. I didn't realize folks on here had there panty's pulled so tightly over their head they couldn't grasp the point. I'll try to be more specific next time to avoid the confusion! My bad!

Whats that you say Lynard eh? I can't seem to hear what your saying you have been DELETED! Feel free to ramble on with your SUPER INTELLECT!

Yeah, we had a troll come in and he's posting under a couple of names - and SOME people here just won't learn to ignore him. Pick and choose the threads you want to follow.

Duly noted...
Actually, I was being a bit sarcastic; I've seen WAY worse, especially in one particular forum...
