His best ip is play every other note?

Till you specify a note as sharp or flat,
every other note makes up the chordal
triad the 1st, 3rd, and 5th, they're always
going to sound good... i.e. C E G.

Notes are measured in 1/2 steps from the
tonic, chrds are built in major and minor
thirds from the tonic.

I don't see ay relevancy in his tip, when you
play lead shouldn't you play in the scale and
try to bring in notes from the chromatic scale,
to give you, your own sense of melody and
uniquness.
I use the pentatonic major and minor scales 90%
of the time, they consist of whole steps and gaps.

My old lady loves Stevie Ray, to me all that blues
sounds the same from record to record and artist
to artist, some do it better some do it worse.

When playing lead try to leave that blues note out
f your minor scales(it sounds shitty in your major
scales) I think the lack of that one note gives you
a more "timeless" sound.

Lynard, Apparently you cant stay away from the forum... (where us folks keep running our mouths...)

Albert King has more musical knowledge and ability in the cuticle of his little fingernail than you'll ever have in your entire farm-town house . He can sing. You cant! Why don't you you give it up home-boy? You aren't talented by any stretch. Quit annoying those of us, who are.

Have you thought to stop living your life in delusion. You know damn well that you are nothing more than walking mid-life crisis, who can't even drive a real sports car... and definitely can't get the chicks...

Now Go soak your teeth, or whatever it is that all you assisted-living bingo-hounds do and leave the real musicians alone.

To the likes of me, I just explained it to you,
but you don't understand. You really cover songs
well but your noted lack of musical knowledge
is why you don't play original music, you lack the
basic understanding, study and practice music,
not copying some song off a record.

Are all you Texas bands just a bunch of loudmouth
fatboys? I mean come on Mr Haley look at the size
of your bass player, he makes you look small.

You'll probably threaten and scare me, but obesity
is the #1 killer in America, Mr Haley have you grown
fat and lazy, that's on you.

There you go with your loudmouth "pipsqueak"?
Well I'll tell my Mom, grow up.

You guys always wanta call people gay then
talk about your weinnie.

I don't hate Texas, those were real solutions
to a complex problem. I thought when Texas wanted to
secede from the Unoin a few years ago we should
have let them. Then we could have went down there
and took everything they had, and then jump back across
the border into OK< NM< or AZ.

Your originals are better then mine and your a better
musician, and guitar player then me. I must be a better
piano player and mandolin player then you and singer
since you didn't mention them. And banjo player, and bass player,
and syntheziser player, and drummer.

You go with what you know Mr Haley.

Those are the facts of your life, and you still can't grasp
what your hero was saying about every other note can
you?

Pip squeak, why call me names over the internet,
when you don't even use creative names or adjectives.
Look how some of the others say funny stuff, like Jimmy D.
Or M Talbot, or even weinnie dog they are so much more
expressive ......pip squeak that's all you got?

Allah is the greatest MUSICIAN! It has been said that a man has latent potential for spiritual growth when he wears his hair in the mullet. One glorious day he will become a mullah ... lest he should perish as a worm trampled on the road to victory by the truly faithful!

I will pray for you Mr. Haley! :D

weinnie dog that's a concrete statue of
the Statue of Liberty sitting out front
of the 1st Baptist church. Baptist's they got
their priorities.

And weinnie dog do you contribute anything
musically? You know I picture you as the guy
sitting on the stairs playing the acoustic in
the movie Animal House, then Belushi critiques
you, your such a sensitive writer, you still need to
practice maybe your buddy Mr haley will help
you, we all concede to his greatness. lol
