I've been blathering on about individual entrepreneurial for a couple of years now.
Your doing it!
Aw shucks George, aint nothing to it. To tell you the truth, I lose money on this...(Not something were supposed to do if we can help it) ..But its worth every penny... I am gaining community support, so just maybe, I can reach a point where I'll break even, and even start turning a profit. (Though profit is not my primary objective) . This thing goes down twice a year, so my goal is to generate some T-shirt sales to pay for it ,,, The trick is to put a real spin on the whole idea of the contest, make it blast for all ,,,and the t-shirts will be the memories they take with them... (Along with the privilege of meeting and hearing young talents come out and strut their work) Its also a great place for local artists to swap/cell their CDs...
The big enchilada for me is to get this baby on the map with our local council on Culteral Arts and entertainment. I want this thing to be part of the El Paso wall paper. Judging by the feedback I have been getting, the path is wide open to go for it... Only a matter of time to build up the creds.
If God approves...it WILL happen
