If somebody wants to a wear a medal that is real or fake or doesn't belong to them I could care less. Same waste of taxpayers' money legislating gay marriage. I could care less if two people, who I don't know, want to get married or not. Doesn't have ANY bearing on my life. We have multitudes of legislation that is frivilous, just as we have countless lawsuits that are frivilous.
We need to start looking at ENDING frivilous legal maneuverings ONCE AND FOR ALL.
I don't disagree about your point on legislation..There is too much legislation for sure.
But as for your personal sentiment...Bob, let me ask, with the utmost respect to you.. Have you served your country by availing yourself to defend her, at the risk of dying?
I have...
And at my very core heart, I don't agree with war, and neither did many of my mates, who took bullets shrapnel, and witnessed atrocity... Sometimes those medals are the only thing those men have left, to remind them that somebody cared enough to recognize what they gave up and lost , just to make sure the rest of us didn't have to give up and lose.
I cant think of a more desecrating act to these guys than to mock them, by sporting medals as bling, for the sake of fashion... its offensive and disrespectful... may as well just spit on our veterans..
What we need, Bob, is for people to "care" and to
not be indifferent about that... Its really not asking a whole lot... (From my perspective anyhow...)
ok I'm off my pulpit...
