Hey Jimmy, can we talk about the 'idea of possession'? (in music of course! )

possessions you either have them or you don't?
I am glad I am not possessed..
look what happened when Jesus rebuked the demons into the herd of swine?, they ran over the cliff, destroying themselves.. it must be highly stressful to have an exorcism performed on your person, ultimately it leads to a person's destruction if Jesus's parable is correct.. just sayin'

Oh it's more than "either you have them or you don't", you can develop a daemonic possession, especially if you have allowed your mind to be filled up with all that Christian mythology.

But I was talking about music and possession . . . of which I will now start a new thread so people can yell at me and call me names!

Sort of . . . being there really aren't demons, angels, god, or devils, what is going on with demonic possession is the subconscious mind has searched for an ancient archetype that the conscious mind, depending on the person's religious/cultural background, has relegated this archetype to that of something evil.
Once self-convinced that this demon is responsible for the bad things going the possession is complete and has transferred to the consciousness where it can create physical ailments (usually madness and hysteria).

you could be right Etu, could be nothing but brain chemistry gone awry to cause irrational human behavior, perhaps disease as rabies would cause,.. but on a sidenote, I do have my opinions about existence as we know it here on this temporal plane known as earth, and that is, looking at any life form, a person should be able to analyze for example a human body, and see that it is "engineered" to some degree, with various sinews and organs all working together to allow the body to function, to miraculously breathe air in order to sustain life is a miracle too, .. in my opinion God or some superior "gods" far advanced than humans are, CREATED us, and whether you want to call this principle that created us GOD or gods it matters not, but we did not create ourselves, and the plant kingdom is a whole nuther story..

Sound is the product of vibration, I suppose I should have used the word vibration instead for it is that which I am talking about.

Everything in the objective universe is vibration, everything created in our objective universe is the result of vibration.
