lol...

I was reading thru some of the threads and saw...

Naive kid with not much talent and horrible taste in music who continually was asking the same dumb questions. Now add guys who don't suffer fools gladly (verbally) pummeling said naive kid while bordering on online bullying.

It was almost like seeing the schoolyard nerd/runt/social outcast taunting the jocks only to get stuffed in a locker.

Frankly, other than the horrible taste in music, I didn't see what the kid did that was so bad (other than being simply annoying and clueless).

Just sayin'

Ok, now... Obama 2012.

Man, you guys get uptight over the most trivial things, whcih couldv'e all been solved by simply discussing the issue.

And saying that a given person has horrible tastes in something is just rude. Everybody has different tastes, and the music I play is not everybody's cup of tea, just like most of the active musicians in Baton Rouge don't play the music I enjoy. Do I go around telling them that their music tastes suck? No.

And I am NOT a kid. I am 28 years old. I am a small guy and DO look young for my age and forgive me if I get a little persistent and sometimes need to vent about some stuff that annoys me.

I am a great guy with a sensitive soul and a soft heart.

I am sorry if I did upset anyone in anyway.

You enjoy that music. Fine. That's your thing, enjoy.

You forgot to mention the part where he played everyone of us...like a key on the Xylophone .. as we jumped in to help him and as he responded with his pissiness... His sheer lack of courtesy did it for me...

And in other news, Here is my prediction for the 2012 election... (checking crystal ball now)... (wait)... I see two simultaneous events... (Ohmmmmmmmmm!) Yes...Here it is...: The NY Times Announces in a headline: "Romney wins! Will replace Obama..." (Then a 2nd vision) ...In the same newspaper sports Section, Romney will be quoted , asking voters, "Has anybody seen my size 12 cletes laying around near the campaign trail? ..My right shoe seems to be missing! (...Then... a third vision... ) On the DOW: Preparation H stock drastically skyrockets... Heavy trades cited from the oval office.

I don't know what to say except that I'm sorry if I confused anybody or made anyone upset. And I am sorry if I gave anyone who was helping me the impression that the help wasn't appreciated. It was. It's just that I needed to talk to a couple of guys around my age in Baton Rouge who like playing pop and soft rock music and thus learn about specific places in Baton Rouge by name that you guys were giving general information about.

In the future, let's try to handle missunderstandings better. If there's a problem of any kind, please, talk to me about it. I am a reasonable person. Of course, you shouldn't have to worry about that anymore, because I won't be posting much, since this board seems kind of quiet anyway.

Again, I apologize for any missunderstadnings.

I enjoyed the banter, your right about this
board being kinda of quiet. I haven't been
able to pull as many musical tidbits of advice
off this forum lately. It seems more about religion
and politics than music, and the christian are
so quick to judge.

I believe the use of drugs has been closely related
to music since the beginning of time. Yod will know
he thinks he's a walking library, rockstar, savior all
roled into one, good for him.
I'd try the use of drugs it will surely attract some
players, who just want to have a good time. Seriously,
I know a couple of drum players that'll be able to make
it.

Good Luck

That's the VERY thing I want to stay away from. I'm not in this to be a rock star or become famous. I also want to avoid being around guys who frequent bars and clubs a lot and drink regularly.

By the way, I'm looking for KEYBOARD players, not drummers, not guitar players, keyboard players.

Lynard. You are without a doubt the biggest pole-smoker this side of the atlantic... Lambert's calling out for you... Why don't you two get a room and drop some acid together, then you girls can pretend to be in a pillow fight to the death... LOL!

Losers!

The name is Clifford, and I am NOT calling out for some old guy in his fifites. I'm trying to reach GUYS in their 20s who are much smarter individuals on the internet, and know how to deal with some simple missunderstandings and who are not easily angered like you guys are.

I mean, really. Look at how mean you were to Lynard.

And by the way, the name is Clifford, not Lambert. And I don't do ANY recreational drugs. Two of my favorite artists were lost to drug addictions. Michael Jackson in June 2009 and Whitney Houston in Feb 2012.

Well then Clifford, it looks like you just broke Lynard's heart (WHose real name btw is Lynn) . He's been trolling these forums for quite a while , in search of a young boy , who likes conversations, enjoys music, (Lynn has been dying to tickle somebody with his antiquated Grateful Dead guitar solo, which he swears he wrote) ) I forgot to mention, Lynard likes to put the lotion on himself...

TROLLING in any form is WRONG! And what you are doing Paperdog is also wrong as well. It's not cute! I am not interested in Lynard, because of his music tastes, and his motives, and his age.

No sob story is going to persuade me to change my mind, and if that person has to TROLL around on a message board just to get soemone's attention, then that's also a deal breaker.

I don't stoop to your level, so I didn't leave it out. I don't mind having a friendship with someone closer to my dad's age, but it's a different kind of friendship, think more mentor, like if I were to "hang out" with Billy Joel or Elton John or Madonna, compared to hanging out with Adam Lambert, David Cook, or Kelly Clarkson. And I wouldn't mind forming a networking circle with a couple of people who like different styles of music in order to meet some who do like more of the music I enjoy.

Lambert, one reason you have no friends at any age.. is because you grossly lack a sense of humor. You cant even recognize what a tool you have been in the last few posts... because you do not know how to laugh... Now, I'm done with you and have no further need for your presence on the forum ... :P Please go away...and take that slug Lynard with you.. Buh Bye!!
