please
1) Become a premier member of BandMix.
2) Post audio samples of your talents.
3) Use the search function to "seek" and message every recently active ( the last 48 hours ) member of BandMix within what is considered an acceptable travel distance of your specific geographic region.
Do this two to three times weekly and don't be dismayed by lack of return messages as the send return ratio runs about 20:1
Expect to continue this routine for six months.
4) Go where the players are. Music stores, pubs, college music professors / departments, coffee houses & Churches, and make yourself known. Business cards help.
5) Do very possible open mic event you can hook up with. sing when you can, be there to support and canvas others when you can't.
To seek is an action word.
