I just got a lifetime ban from kawasakimotorcycle.org because I called this guy a jackass in one of his threads because he can't spell for $h!t! I told him to forget about bikes for a while and get your a$s back to school. I told him on the bright side, you could always end up being the head french frier at your local Mc D's!
Well.... YIKES.... I got personal pm's from 3 admins. using very strong language telling me to apologize... In so many words, in the heat of the moment, I told them to fuk off and get a freakin' life and why don't they o learn how to ride a twistie or 2 instead of living their life in cyberspace, etc....
Ummmm..
.... I kinda lost my temper and probably hit a nerve or 2... and I've been banned eternally.... Never been banned before.... I feel dirty....
Amazing I'm still here though.
Don't any of you fekkers screw up your spelling or you'll suffer the wrath of Crip2nite!

Coool.. Believe it or not, with all the bikes I've owned and own, I've never had a dirtbike. Looks like tons of fun, just in my area there really aren't any places to ride the damn things!
Ive never owned a street bike. A friend had one of those Honda CBR 954 a couple of years ago. Man I wanted one bad but everytime I got on it I was doing 150MPH+. It had a great powerband, I was doing 70 MPH wheelies and stoppies. I think I freaked him out cause he quit letting me ride it.

... Well, I think you have just won the award for being the scariest celtic harp player alive, Irminsul. Battle of the bands called, they said they apologize, you actually won. I think they saw that photo, lmao.
Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

WOW!! Coool.... I can honestly say that I've never even so much as held a gun in my life .... but I've got quite a knife collection!.... I'm not anti-gun... just never had the opportunity to ever come across one. That... and my wife refuses ever to allow a gun in this house with my 2 bratty sons 10 & 12.... God knows what they would do if they got hold of one!

You shouldn't have guns in the house around children, unless you are commited to training each and every one of them in rigorous firearm safety....and even then keeping them locked away, with trigger locks, with the ammo in a much different place.
As much as I enjoy shooting, I totally support decent regulation and safety training. Too many people have died for lack of those two things.
Irminsul,
You never cease to amaze me.
The AK is 7.62x35 round correct? Nice magazine on there by way. Is that a 30 round? I have never fired an AK. I have an SK which I believe is the same caliber and a similair frame. They are nice. Not a lot of recoil but an extremely accurate and powerful round. You ever fire the heavier calibers like the 300 Winchester Magnum or what I like to refer to as "the flincher" LOL
Here is a little story. My wife grew up in town that has a ban on handguns and her parents were totally anti gun. So she meets me and she is terrifed of guns but I take her out trap shooting and such. I later picked up a 9mm automatic pistol and she says she should at least learn to use and be comfortable with it. So she takes some classes. Her instructor teaches CIA, NSA, DOD, Police SWAT etc. combat fire arms training. It turns out she is natural. There is no one except her instructor so far who can out shoot her. She was asked to go into competition but declined because she just wanted to learn to shoot and it really doesn't interest her that much.
She came home from class one day and my little peaceful wife who throws bugs outside rather then sqaush them says to me we learned something interesting today. I am like what is that dear? She says "If you fire two rounds to the chest and they don't drop all follow up shots are to the head because they are wearing body armour."
I sleep with one eye open now.

Yeah thats the same round. And the clips, (yes its a 30) you have to be careful because some of them are made in weird places and they won't fit right. You could spend a lot of your time in the shop machining them down a bit to fit in your rifle and frankly I'm squeamish about that. They should fit tight or you're asking for trouble.

*chuckle* Enough to keep you frosty isn't it.
My wife turned out the same way. I've been around guns all my life (my dad used to run the PR office for the NRA, back when it was half sane) but two years ago we take her out to the range - she has never shot a gun at all, and we start training her on a glock, and then my brother's BAR-10 (oh my lord that thing BARKS). Well she's a regular Annie Oakley. Wipes the floor with me on the range. Man that sucks!
Incidentally, she even did really well with a damn MAC-11. I'm sure you know how difficult it is to hit ANYTHING with those things.
