There are countries already buying barrels of oil with their own
currencies valuation instead of US Dollars.

BTW The US Dollar is already devalued... Remember the Creddit rating we just recieved... Less than stellar// There is talk that we ar about to lose our status as the holder of the monetary standard. When that happens, Our dollars wil be worth less than a roll of pic-sav toilet paper... then were looking at third world conditions creeping in..

Unfortunatley the lessons found in the story of Ninevah have nothing to do with the word I received from the Lord, unless He forgot to mention that to me. I also believe in the over quoted prophesy in 2nd Ch 7:14. However, that also has nothing to do with what I was told.

dog, we dont have to pick off anyone. We have the power as a nation already to change everything. I said earlier that the plan may be to keep us struggeling to survive so for most voting is thought of as a useless task.
As a nation and not as Republicans or Democrats or any other we need to believe in a single human being in this country that has surrounded himself with proven and trusted staff as this country did with George Washington. Its not about them or those, its about us.

I'm just afraid the total control of everyones life will go on too long before the nation as a whole will wake up. Then the powers that be will be too strong to stop. As long as just getting by is good enough and "partying your ass-off" keeps others occupied and division through parties keeps national focus blurred. THEY WIN![/b]

I don't buy into this line of thinking. Even Ninevah was considered "the walking dead" because of their evilness and corruption, yet the harbinger of destruction came with a word of hope - repent, and you'll be spared, and they were.

In terms of dooms days, the list of Armageddons goes back to the beginning - yet we're still here. So I don't buy into them. And even if one is true, so what? I'll live a few years less? Does it really matter when or how you die? If you don't believe in God, then there's nothing, including memory, so nothing you enjoy now matters at all - it's all vanity to quote my favorite author. If you do believe in God, then you have a path to eternal bliss. In both cases, what happens on earth is pretty silly, don't you think?

Anyways, you'll be happy to hear I'm done with this topic. I hope your camping trip went well.

"better to live your life not knowing" perhaps for you but not for me or a hundred million others who value humanity and freedom and truth and a worthwhile creative existence. Of course there are many who have been sucking down the corn syrup of this modern world. I am very happy, very concerned and most definately not a fatalist. You describe the mass media fodder when you refer to every five years. Most of what you say sounds like Fox News in some ways to me.
