I use to have no sense of direction On a keyboard and thought the black keys work for decorations but slowly as I want to add more dimensions an d feelings to my core of metal with the mini sounds I can produce from a keyboard playing guitar is slowly integrating me in to the keyboard or piano I cannot play it fluently yet but I can come up with little phrases and chords to add to my song the journey is quite exciting

Keys can add another dimesion. I'd also suggest you get a keyboard with MIDI USB out, and experiment with MIDI (assuming you use a DAW with MIDI recording). There are lots of free MIDI VSTis (instruments) out there.

I've head some of her vocals and think she would do well in a backup role.
I've not heard her play but know that she performs P&W stuff with a group at her Church. How well she will be able to translate into a rock format is to be seen.
